Women's regional study camp for Thrissur district was held at Thrissur Yathri Nivas on 25-07-2008. CITU district President Sri.KF Devid inaugurated the study camp. He had presented the first session on the subject 'Women, Society and Organisation'. In his session, he had stressed the importance of women in struggles related to problems of working women in unorganised sectors.

 In the afternoon session, Smt. R. Bindu, Honourable Meyor, Thrissur Corporation had presented the subject " Participation of women in policy making'.She stressed that women should be given political power. It is already proven that women are good administrators.

Smt. KR Renuka, Sunitha, Sri. KR Mohanan, MK Bhaskaran participated in the discussion.

 Sri. VV Devadas, District President was the moderator of the camp. 53 members participated in the camp including 33 women.
