Women's regional study camp for Kasaragod, Kannur , Wayanad and Kozhikode districts were held at Thalassery Sangamam auditorium on 09-09-2008. NGO Union State Secretary Sri. PV Ratnakaran inaugurated the study camp. He had presented the first session on the subject 'globalisation and women'. In his session, he had stressed on the impact of globalisation on families and women.

Participants were divided into two groups and group discussion was started on the subjects ' Problems faced by women in KSEB' and ' How to improve the participation of women in Association?' Smt. Smita and Smt. Thripthi presented the summmary of group discussion. In the afternoon session, Vanitha Sahithi district president Smt. KPB Preetha presented the subject" The role of women in present Indian scenario'.

Sri. Augustine Thomas, District President was the moderator of the camp. 38 members participated in the camp including 20 women.
