Vydhyuthiye Ariyuka programme conducted at Neyyattinkara

Vydythiye Ariyuka at neyyaattinkaraThe Thiruvananthapuram District Committee of KSEB Officers' Association had conducted a "Vydhyuthiye Ariyuka" programme at Dr. G.R. Public School, Neyyattinkara on 28/12/2008. The programme was arranged as per the request of office bearers of the Neyyattinkara Unit of "Uduppi Madhwa Brahmana Sabha (Kerala)" in connection with their annual family get together. Altogether, 75 persons attended the programme.

At the outset, Sri. V. Sukumaran Thampi, Assistant Executive Engineer (District Secretary, KSEBOA) spoke about the power scenario in the State / Country, the policies of the State / Central Governments being implemented and their impact on the power sector and the common consumers.

After introductory speeches, Sri. G. Sreenivasan, Executive Engineer (Secretary, KSEBOA) lead the classes on the power requirements of various domestic appliances and its optimum use, importance of energy conservation, necessity for reduction of demand especially during peak hours, safety precautions, etc. in an interesting manner. He invited the audiences to respond positively to clear their doubts as and when arise. The audiences have participated in the discussions actively and have utilized the opportunity to interact with KSEB officers effectively.

 

Sri. V. Madhavan, Accounts Officer, Sri. V. Unnikrishanan, Assistant  Engineer, Sri. Sudarsanan, Assistant Engineer and Sri. K.B. Ramachandran, Assistant Engineer (Civil) have also attended the programme and participated in the discussions.  The office bearers of "Uduppi Madhwa Brahmana Sabha (Kerala)" and the participants have appreciated the Officials and KSEB Officers' Association for their sincere consumer oriented programme with social commitment.
