Seminar on Nuclear agreement and power sector at Alappuzha on 14-08-2008

KSEB Officers' Association, Alappuzha district committee had conducted a seminar on 'Indo-US nuclear agreement and power sector'. The seminar was conducted at Chengannur on 14-08-2008.

Mavelikkara MP Smt. CS Sujatha ha inaugurated the seminar. In her inaugural speach, Smt.CS Sujatha had opined that the Manmohan singh Government is trying to execute nuclear agreement with US by projecting the power crisis.

Sri. KR Unnithan, Secretary, Electricity Employees Federation of India had made the main presentation. Sri. Unnithan had commented that this agreement is not a solution for power crisis in India.

Adv. Eby Kuriakkose (DCC Secretary), Sri. Saji Cheriyan (CPIM District secretariate member), Prof. K Madhusoodhanan (Dept. of Physics, NSS College, Panthalam) had also presented papers.

KSEBOA State Vice president Sri. AS Dasappan was the moderator.
