Activities 
25,327 students from 413 colleges participated In power quiz-2001. College level Power Quiz competition was held on 26-09-06. Disrict level quiz was conducted on 12-10-06 in 22 quiz districts. On 7-11-06 all three zonal quiz competitions were also completed.
State Level competition of Power Quiz 2006 was held at Pattom St. Maries Higher Secondary School on 05-12-2006.Thunchan Memorial Govt. College, Tirur, Govt. engineering College, Mananthavadi , St.alocius HSS, elthuruth, Marian College, Kuttikkanam, Govt. Higher Secondary School, Sooranad, Musaliyar Engineering College, malayalapuzha teams participated in the final.
Sri. K Asokan, President KSEBOA presided over the prize distribution ceremony. Education minister Sri MA Baby distributed the prizes.
Govt. engineering College, Mananthavadi become the winners in Power Quiz 2006. St. Alocius HSS, elthuruth, Thrissur become Runners Up.
Sri. G Sreenivasan, Secretary, KSEBOA was the quiz master in the Final.
