Applicable to poultry farms, silk worm breeding/Government Livestock Farms, Agricultural consumers, all cultivations including dewatering and Lift Irrigation (Single or 3 phase), Private Livestock farms (Minimum number of milky cattle shall be five) and combination of livestock and dairy farms, private pig farms (provided there is a minimum six breedable adult animals in the farm.
In all cases where ISI approved capacitors of recommended value (Click Here) are installed for the inductive load.

Note :
1. For consumers who have not installed ISI approved capacitors of recommended value for their inductive loads, the tariff rates applicable will be higher by 20% (both on Fixed and Energy charges) than the rates shown above.
2. All LT Agricultural Consumers are required to install static capacitors approved by ISI for power factor improvement, for their inductive loads as recommended in the Annexure and obtain approval of the Board. New service connections will not be given unless the prospective consumer's installations include static capacitors of the recommended rating.
3.In the event of the static capacitor becoming faulty or unserviceable, the consumer should forthwith intimate the matter to the Assistant. Engineer/Assistant Executive Engineer of the concerned Electrical Section/Major Section and the consumer shall make immediate arrangements for repair. If the capacitor is not put back into service duly repaired and to the satisfaction of the Board within two weeks, enhanced charges as per .Note 1 above shall be payable for the whole period during which the capacitor was faulty.
