Kerala Electricity Minister Sri. AK Balan said on 08-11-2008 at Iritty that the power restrictions including half hour load shedding and thermal surcharge will be withdrawn immediately if the centre restores the allocated power quota of Kerala. Minister was elaborating the power situation in Kerala during the inauguration of Adivasi Kshema Samithi Kannur district Convention.Share of electricity from the central pool had also been reduced considerably putting the state into a severe power crisis.
