kseboa.org uses latest web font MLW-TTKarthika from
CDAC. It has been observed that with the new browsers being introduced, some locations of the fonts have been used by the application. To take care of this and to handle the excess spreading of the text in the browsers, a new set of fonts were developed. This set of fonts is what is available as Web fonts.
Case -1 No Fonts Display in Internet Explorer Check your browser version. You need Microsoft ® Internet Explorer™ for Windows (v. 4.0 or later) to view dynamic fonts.
In older versions If the Malayalam pages page doesn't display correctly, Please change your browser settings. Go to "View" -> "Encoding" and select "User Defined". If you are unable to view dynamic fonts, especially if you cannot view fonts that you were able to view in the past, clear the browser's cache. You can perform this operation without having to restart your browser.You can force Internet Explorer (Windows only) to refresh a single page regardless of what's stored in the cache. Hold down the Shift key and click Refresh. To clear the entire cache, follow this procedure.
Choose View > Internet Options. Internet Explorer displays the Internet Options dialog box. On the General tab under Temporary Internet files, click Delete Files. Click OK to close the dialog box, and then click Refresh on the toolbar to reload the page.
Fonts when displayed may sometimes appear jumbled in Internet Explorer 5.0
or above. To avoid this, from the View menu, select Encoding > User Defined.
Case - 2 No Fonts in Netscape Communicator ( 4.03 or higher ) Check your browser version. You need Netscape 4.03 or higher to view dynamic fonts.

Hold down the Shift key (Windows) or the Option key (Mac OS) and click Reload. To clear the entire cache, follow this procedure.
Choose Edit > Preferences. Communicator displays the Preferences dialog box. Under Category, click Advanced, then click Cache. Click Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache. Click OK to close the dialog box, and then click Reload on the toolbar to reload the page.
Check the Netscape Preferences to make sure you have dynamic fonts enabled. The default setting enables dynamic fonts, but it is possible to change it.Choose Edit > Preferences. Communicator displays the Preferences dialog box. In the list of Categories, under Appearance, select Fonts. Click the following option: "Use document-specified fonts, including Dynamic Fonts."
If your Browser is Netscape Communicator 6 or above, You will not be able to properly view Malayalam dynamic fonts. Please download the karthika web font.
If everything Fails Still If you cannot see Malayalam fonts, please Click Here to download the karthika web font. Save the MLW-TTKarthika.ttf to any directory. Click the Start button and select Settings, Control Panel, Fonts. Click on File, Install New Font. Select the the directory where you have saved the font file. Select the MLW-TTKarthika.ttf font and click OK. This will install the font for viewing the site. Exit the control panel. If you are unable to see the site in Malayalam you may need to restart the browser or reboot the machine. Fonts when displayed may sometimes appear jumbled in Internet Explorer 5 browser.
