KSEBOA - KSEB Officers' Association

Delegates session of 15th State conference of KSEB Officers' Association was inaugurated by State industries minister Sri. Elamaram Karim at Tagore centenary hall, Kozhikode on 28-09-008.

Welcome committee Chairman Sri. TP Ramakrishnan (Secretary, CITU Kerala State committee) delivered the welcome speech. Meeting was presided by Sri. KA Sivadasan, president, KSEB Officers' Association.

In his inaugural speech, Elamaram Karim had invited the attention of the conference about the economic recession in US. He added that federal reserve is being utilsed in US for meeting the losses of private capitalist forces.The indian banking sector was not much effected by the economic problems since most of the banks are working in public sector. So the Government should revert its privatisation policies to protect our economy.

Policy of Kerala Government is to support public sector. Power generation in Kerala is to be increased on an emergency basis to meet the loads of Vallarpadam Container terminal, Smart city, kannur airport, Vizhinjam port etc. Several industrial parks are also comming up. But certain section of people are objecting the power generation projects especially hydro projects. Even the transmission line construction projects are not spared by raising false propaganda.
