15th State conference of KSEB Officers' Association will be held at Kozhikode on 27-09-2008 and 28-09-2008 at Tagore centenary Hall. Womens' conference will be held on 27-09-2008 at 9AM. Seminar on 'Kerala Power Sector - Problems and solutions' will be held on 27-09-2008 at 3 PM.

Smt. TN Seema, President, All India Democratic women's Association will inaugurate the seminar. Smt. KK Latika, MLA will make key note address. Smt. G Sreekumari Amma, Chairperson, Womens' sub committee, KSEB Officers' Assocation, Sri. B Pradeep, General secretary, KSEB Officers' Association, Sri. KA Sivadasan President, KSEB Officers' Association will also participate in the conference.

The seminar to be held at 3PM will discuss the crisis in the pwer sector and will discuss about the solutions. Sri. K Asokan, Member (Transmission and Distribution, KSEB) will be the moderator in the seminar. Honourable electricity minister of Kerala, Sri. AK Balan will inaugurate the seminar. Sri. SMC Pillai (Director(foundation), NTPC, New Delhi) will present the paper on 'Fossil Fuel power of Kerala -  Challenges and opportunities. Dr. SN Sreenivas ( Director , Climate change and energy - India, UNDP, New Delhi) will present the paper on 'Power for Kerala - Renewable options'. Sri. PA Sidhartha menon, Former Chairman, KSEB will present the paper on ' Power crisis - Organisational challenges'. Sri. MK Parameswaran Nair(Chairman, Mullaperiyar Special cell, Thiruvananthapuram) will present the paper on ' Hydro power - Rethinking in Kerala perspectives'
